Opportunity: Full Stack Software Engineer

‍Who We are Looking For:

We are looking for a proven Software Engineer with excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask, think critically, and serve our customers. You will work with a team of engineers, architects, and product owners to create and deliver innovative digital asset management and content management solutions that transform how our customers do business.

‍Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and follow software implementation best practices and software architecture principles as part of Agile software projects.
• Utilize your engineering skills to implement both front-end and back-end application functionality.
• Work in a team setting, collaborating with co-workers and customers daily to solve problems and build solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in application code, configurations, and environments.
• Communicate status, issues, and questions clearly and concisely to your project lead.
• Create technical documentation to support your development.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

Basic Qualifications:

• Two+ years of full stack software development experience designing, developing and testing complex solutions and code.
• Two+ years of back-end Java development experience (J2EE/OSGi/Spring Boot).
• Two+ years of front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Two+ years of working experience with common front-end technologies like Polymer, Vue, Angular, React, or similar.
• Two+ years working with backend databases (NoSQL or SQL).
• Two+ years of development experience with Enterprise Content Management and/or Digital Asset Management systems.
• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, and automated integration tests.
• Knowledge of software implementation best practices and software architecture principles, including familiarity with implementing Agile software projects.
• Strong self-starter attitude who does not need direct supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization: end users, executives, and senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of content services platforms and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring on AWS (Amazon Web Services), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), or Azure.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with MongoDB (or any NoSQL databases).
• Experience with messaging/queueing technologies like Apache Kafka & Apache Artemis.
• Worked with standard software development lifecycle tools like Git and Jira.
• Comfortable working with Python, NodeJS, or Bash in a scripting capacity.
• Quick learner of new and emerging technologies.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
