Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a primary focus on solutions developed using Tungsten TotalAgility and a willingness to learn. This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for solutions built on Tungsten TotalAgility.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using established processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on testability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Prepare test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in testing applications developed with at least one of the following: Java, HTML, .NET, and C#.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be willing to obtain a moderate-risk or high-risk Public Trust clearance (We support you with this process).
  • Must be located near Minneapolis and willing to travel to the office Tuesday – Thursday.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and scripting is a plus.
  • Experience with modern testing automation platforms such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of Tungsten TotalAgility or other business process management/workflow platforms is highly desirable.

Location:

  •  Genus Technologies is located in downtown Minneapolis, MN. This role is in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
