Technical Product Owner

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team in a hybrid role that combines the strategic vision of a Solutions Architect, the customer-centric mindset of a Product Owner, the relationship-building skills of an Account Executive, and the delivery expertise of a Senior Consultant. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a unique blend of technical acumen, business insight, and client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership & Strategy
    • Serve as the voice of the customer in cross-functional teams.
    • Define product features, prioritize backlogs, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with engineering, UX, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, developing deep relationships and understanding their business goals.
    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing accounts.
    • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and executive briefings.
  • Solution Architecture & Design
    • Design and architect scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across enterprise content management (ECM), digital asset management (DAM), and workflow automation.
    • Leverage experience with Tungsten Automation and similar platforms to drive digital transformation initiatives.
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Sales & Pre-Sales Support
    • Partner with sales teams to support RFPs, demos, and solution presentations.
    • Develop compelling value propositions and solution narratives.
    • Assist in pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Consulting & Delivery Leadership
    • Lead strategic consulting engagements, including process analysis, workflow design, and change management.
    • Ensure successful delivery of solutions, meeting quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
    • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Eligible for moderate-risk or high-risk Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a hybrid role encompassing solutions architecture, consulting, product ownership, and/or account management.
  • Proven experience with Tungsten Automation, ECM, DAM, or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in digital transformation, workflow/process automation, and solution design.
  • Demonstrated success in sales or pre-sales roles, with the ability to influence Clients.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in content management or automation.
  • Experience in Banking and other Financial Services.

Location:

  • Genus Technologies is located in downtown Minneapolis, MN. This role is in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Estimate Pay Range:

  • $110,000 - $175,000 is our estimated range for this role. Experience with role qualifications, education, alignment to Genus values and competencies, market and geographic location, and other factors are assessed when making final compensation decisions. There are also other potential variable compensation options that would be considered.
