Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Change Management Specialist to support the rollout of a new enterprise software application and its ongoing enhancement releases. This contract role will play a critical part in ensuring successful user adoption and organizational readiness through structured change management strategies, communication planning, and stakeholder engagement. 

We estimate the work to be 40 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.  

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in change management, particularly in technology-driven environments, and a proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive change plans that align with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Change Management Plan to support the initial rollout and future enhancement releases of a new software application 
  • Create and manage communication strategies tailored to various stakeholder groups, including end users, leadership, and support teams 
  • Design and deliver change artifacts such as: 
    • Stakeholder impact assessments 
    • RACI matrices 
    • Communication plans and timelines 
    • Sample emails, newsletters, and user announcements 
    • FAQs and quick reference guides 
  • Collaborate with project managers, training teams, project stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure alignment and readiness 
  • Monitor change adoption and user feedback to adjust strategies as needed 
  • Support the development of feedback loops and change reinforcement mechanisms 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Change Management, preferably in software implementation or enterprise technology environments. 
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter) 
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Confluence 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment 
  • Must be a US Citizen working in the United States 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) 
  • Experience working in a Professional Services or client-facing role 
  • Familiarity with software development and release cycles (Agile, DevOps) 
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or custom platforms
